Headless Owls

I'm trying to make this image be my header on my blog and instead I'm getting owls with their heads chopped off and can't figure out why. Poor chopped off head owls. Could anyone help?



I'm making this second image to see if it works but I like the first one better because the image has better resolution ...



I've been messing with templates and Photoshop for about 2 hours, you know when the more you try to fix something the more you screw it up? I just can't walk away from the computer. Someone drag me away. Quick! It's for my own good!
